Campaigns & Advocacy
The executive of the GSA represent graduate students to the university administration and on various Carleton committees and boards. By raising concerns, asking questions, contributing to dialogue and voting on issues, the GSA is able to ensure that the collective grad voice is heard at Carleton.
Do you have specific questions and/or concerns? You can contact the executive directly here, or call the GSA main office at 613.520.6616. The executive can take your concerns to the appropriate committee.
Along with advocating for grads at Carleton, the GSA also engages in many campaigns on issues that affect graduate students, and students in general. A number of these issues can be found under Campaigns & Advocacy to the left of the screen. The GSA works both independently and in partnership with the Canadian Federation of Students on a number of issues, as well as on various campaigns and issues that GSA Council has endorsed. In all cases, if you have any questions or want to get involved, contact the GSA VP-External.
