The GSA Emergency Grant of up to $500 is designed to assist graduate students in dire financial need due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness, fire, theft, or family emergency. The GSA Emergency Grant is not a loan, and thus need not be repaid.

Applicants must provide the following information: reason(s) for application; budgetary outline of the applicant, including income and expenses; detailed information concerning the anticipated use of any potential grant by the applicant; any relevant documentation pertaining to the emergency; and a list of other organizations or bodies to which the applicant has made requests for funds, including details of any funds attained or reasons given for the denial of funds.

The applications will be opened from October 17th and will close on November 7th, 2024 at 4pm EST. No exceptions will be made after this deadline. Please do not email any applications after this deadline as they will not be considered.
