The GSA Black Student Livelihood Grant was created to help alleviate the financial burdens Black graduate students incur while obtaining university degrees. The GSA recognizes that Black graduate students make a significant contribution to graduate student life on campus while

The Award
Eight Grants will be given in the academic year.

The value of each award is $500.00.
Eligibility
Applicants must be Black Carleton University Graduate Students and member of the GSA.
Applicants must show proof of student status.
Selection Procedure
The committee charged with administering the award is the GSA Grants and Awards
Committee.
The anonymity of the applicants will be preserved during the selection process when
the Awards and Scholarships committee makes its decision.
Applications will be processed with strict confidentiality.

A completed application form
Certificate of enrolment generated within two weeks of application submission
Applications will not be considered until all required documentation has been received.
