Hello Ravens,

Here is a submission oppourtunity with an August 15th, 2025 deadline related to Ontario History.

The Ontario Historical Society (OHS) wants to highlight the incredible research of Canada’s newest scholars enrolled in history, heritage, and museology programs. At the OHS, we are committed to preserving and sharing Ontario’s history and heritage, and making it accessible to all. One way we do so is through the publication of The OHS Bulletin, the official newsletter of the OHS.

In our upcoming issues of the Bulletin, we are looking to expand our content to spotlight articles written about the history of Ontario by scholars, like yourself. These articles should be between 800 and 1000 words in length and may include local historical research, oral histories, biographies of notable Ontario figures, descriptions of heritage sites/monuments/projects, etc. If your research sounds like a fit for this opportunity, consider submitting an 800 to 1000-word article to be considered for publication. Any essay or research project you’ve written can be redeveloped into an article. Your submissions should be made via email to Maggie King at student@ontariohistoricalsociety.ca.

If you have any questions or concerns about the submissions process, please do not hesitate to contact Maggie King from the Ontario Historical Society.

While the Ontario Historical Society is accepting submissions on a rolling basis, to be considered for publication in the upcoming Fall issue, please submit your articles by August 15th, 2025. Articles including visual content (photographs and images) will be preferred.
