The GSA has created a number of grants to support Black Carleton Graduate students. Please see below and apply accordingly:

GSA Black Livelihood Grants

Eligibility: any Black Carleton Graduate Student who is facing financial hardship. 

How will grant recipients be chosen:  Black students who face the most financial need are prioritized in this application. 

The applications will be opened from October 17th and will close on November 7th, 2024 at 4pm EST. No exceptions will be made after this deadline. Please do not email any applications after this deadline as they will not be considered.

GSA Black Academic Grant

$1000

Eligibility: any Black Carleton Graduate Student who has been nominated by a community member or by themself based on their commitment to community oriented research.

How will grant recipients be chosen: GSA Grant committee will evaluate each application and nomination and select one recipient.

The applications will be opened from October 17th and will close on November 7th, 2024 at 4pm EST. No exceptions will be made after this deadline. Please do not email any applications after this deadline as they will not be considered.

$1000

Eligibility: any Black Carleton Graduate Student who has been nominated by a community member or by themself based on their commitment to community service or organizing.

How will grant recipients be chosen: GSA Grant committee will evaluate each application and nomination and select two recipients. 

The applications will be opened from October 17th and will close on November 7th, 2024 at 4pm EST. No exceptions will be made after this deadline. Please do not email any applications after this deadline as they will not be considered.
